Temperature measurement and control have been the most common requirement in the production and are also the significant tasks in the process of management and control. It is important to improve production efficiency and product quality, and save energy by using MCU technology, sensor technology, wireless communications and computer technology for real-time control, temperature detection, digital transmission and storage of information. This paper designs a multi-channel remote circuit for temperature monitoring system, combining with the actual needs of some production and processing enterprises in information management and control of the production process. And this system is versatility.Based on PC and STC89C52RC microcontroller, the touring temperature monitoring system uses DS18B20temperature sensor as the acquisition unit. At the same time, LCD, clock module, sound and light alarm system consistute the lower computer, they implement data transmission via RS-485bus to constitute networks. The PC is responsible for the touring collection of data of the lower computer points, and deal with the measurement results. Then in a real-time curve is displayed and stored on the PC hard disk.In this paper, the job done mainly summarized as follows:1. To determine the overall system scheme. It is including the description of system function and key technologies, the overall structure design and function descriptions of upper and lower software.2. Designing hardware circuits of multi-point temperature acquisition. It includes a control circuit design, DS18B20acquisition circuit, clock circuit, LCD circuits, communication and alarm circuit design.3. Design of software system. It includes lower computer of each module programming design, data acquisition, processing, display and storage on upper computer.4. Design of communication module. It includes Serial communication design, GSM network protocol model, SMS module transmission principle, wireless transmission software design.This system is combined of the microcontroller, sensors, communications and computer technology, adopting a multi-point temperature sensor and GSM wireless acquisition method, could be fast setting up and actually monitoring. After the operation, it has many advantages such as low cost, high reliability, strong anti-interference, real-time and low-power consumption.
