Citrus is the fruit king in the world with the leading planting area and yield. Soil is a natural body composed of multilayer minerals, and it is the material basis of agricultural production. The physicochemical property of the soil and the enrichment and the paucity of the nutrient elements contained in the soil are one of the important basis of formulating citrus orchard soil management and fruit trees fertilization scheme, which are playing an important role on the normal development of citrus, fruit quality and yield, even playing a decisive role under a certain condition.As for the present citrus production, in order to realize efficient orchard nutrient, high yield of citrus production, and at the meantime, protect the orchard natural environment, to understand the status of the soil nutrient is the premise condition, and scientific fertilization is the technological mean. However, the citrus orchards in China during the process of citrus production are under extensive management, without knowing the citrus orchard soil environmental condition, the orchard workers apply fertilizer blindly by experience, causing low utilization rate of fertilizer, high cost of fertilizer application, not high citrus orchard yield and poor quality of the fruit.With the rapid development of information technology, in order to solve the problems of the appeal in agricultural production, the precision agriculture production management system based on the Internet of Things has become hotspot to be researched, which is aiming at providing farmers with information services related to agricultural production. As a part of the citrus precision production management system, the citrus soil environment judgments decision support system is based on Internet of Things, and its core is an intelligent decision system in regard to citrus orchard soil environment judgments. Currently, most of the decision support system related to agriculture still use relational database, so that there will be more limitations and less flexible in dealing with a textual knowledge of agricultural production, thus the individualized active information service for farmers can’t be provided, information required at different stages in agricultural production won’t be pushed automatically. Therefore, we apply the semantic technology to the intelligent decision-making system. Utilize the semantic technology to carry on semantic integration to the massive, heterogeneous and multi-source of agricultural production management knowledge. In this system, the application of the semantic technology is mainly manifested in the following two aspects, one is through the construction of ontology to generate semantic database, compared with the traditional relational database, the characteristics of the semantic database are that more flexible adding, updating, deleting of the data, more precise of the inquiry and more convenient to deal with multiple dimensions problems; another is the semantic reasoning over the semantic database, the semantic reasoning is the process of using some strategies to infer out another judgment from the known.Focusing on the above problems, through the study of semantic technology, based on the problem of the soil environment brings to citrus growth in citrus production, this text put forward the citrus orchard soil environmental judgment and decision support system based on the semantic technology to let the soil environmental knowledge be better applied to practical agricultural production in the process of citrus planting.1. Conduct semantic Integration of massive, multi-source and heterogeneous citrus planting soil environmental knowledge. Through the extraction of citrus planting soil environmental knowledge, define and classify to realize the pretreatment of knowledge, based on which to build a triple and rules, by means of querying to verify continuously, eventually to build the citrus planting soil environmental semantic ontology.2.Build the citrus orchard soil environmental judgment and decision support system, aiming at the extensive management in the process of citrus production in our country, blind fertilization by experience of the orchard workers without knowing the orange orchard soil environmental condition, leading to low fertilizer use efficiency, high fertilizer usage cost, low citrus orchard per unit area yield and poor fruit, proactive, personalized, accurate citrus orchard soil environmental management and fertilization information service should be provided to farmers to better apply the agricultural expert knowledge to the actual situation.In conclusion, this text proposed the semantic technology combined with expert knowledge system, by constructing citrus planting soil environmental ontology to generate semantic database so that to better apply the agricultural expert knowledge system to the actual agricultural production.
