| Firstly, the background and significance about yagi antenna is elaborated and the research status of the antenna is introduced at home and abroad. Then the electrical parameters and theory of the antenna is discussed. Secondly, the basic theory of yagi antenna is presented and the influence to the antenna pattern by each dipole is mainly introduced. Finally, the yagi type microstrip antenna is designed and manufactured, by increasing the number of director and parameter optimization, the high gain and relatively wide bandwidth of the antenna is achieved. The antenna and the simulation are basically identical. Microstrip structure is verified by experiment, the yagi antenna not only can by increasing the number of director to improve antenna directivity, but also can achieve relatively wide bandwidth. While the quasi yagi type microstrip antenna structure and other parameters effect the performance of the antenna is discussed in this paper. |
