Research And Implementation Of Remote CPE Management Based On TR069

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet business, a growingnumber of network terminal equipment and other types of CPE, including client devicesand routers in LAN side which have a large and variety number, are introduced into thenetwork. How to manage these terminal devices efficiently become the focus of Operators.So, as the next-generation terminal device management protocol, TR069protocol cameinto being.The full name of the TR069protocol is CPE WAN Management Protocol, it is one ofthe terminal management protocols developed by DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) Forum, theprotocol allows the Operators’ ACS manage CPE in remote side,what’s more,it providesauto-configuration and dynamic service, software and firmware management, statusmonitoring and diagnostic performance statistics and other functions. TR069protocol isproposed to solve the difficult problem of CPE management and reduce the cost carrierterminal equipment on-site installation and maintenance, and provide users with a higherbandwidth utilization and more reliable and secure transmission.Firstly, this paper introduces the application background of TR069protocol, takes anoverview of a variety of traditional network management protocol and points out theadvantages of TR069protocol compared to other protocols. Then, the paper deseribs theprotocol stack of TR069in detail, as a basic, gives the software design and implementationcombining the enterprise home gateway project. The main work of this thesis is the codingrealization of interaction and management function of TR069protocol. Currently, thesystem has been tested and used in the Internet.
