Research And Implementation Of TR069 Protocol On Home Gateway

Protocol TR069 was called CPE WAN Management Protocol,which was developed by DSL Forum.TR069 can be a good solution for operators to solove problems in home network terminal management and maintenance.In the network management model of TR069 protocol,management server is also called automatic configuration server (ACS), which was mainly responsible for the management of the CPE.TR069 protocol can allows operators to truly realized zero-touch service configuration. Zero-touch via remote management server to provide new services, configure device parameters, reduce the requirement of external line installers and even avoided outside personnel on-site service.First, this thesis has analyzed the management status of home networks,then point out the problems of traditional network management approach, and analyzed the necessity of home network unified remote management for operators, in the last gives an effective solutions about devices remote management with TR069 protocol.At the beginning of this thesis has analyzed the network architecture, functions and working principle of TR069 protocol,studied the detailed mechanism of communication session and process between ACS and CPE of TR069 protocol,this laid an effective theoretical basis to design TR069 protocol’s specific implementation.On the basis of depth analysis and research of TR069 protocol, the later two chapters of this thesis gives a specific and test result. In the part of implementation,the main is to design transmission and processing of TR069 protocol packet.The test mainly from the aspect of achieve the basic RPC method between ACS and CPE.The test results of Wireshark captures show that the implementation compliant TR069 protocol, satisfy the requirements of home gateway and it has important reference value for operators to achieve unified management of home gateway.
