Design On ONVIF And Live555for NVR System

Now security field becomes more and more be known, security video monitoringsystem development becomes necessary research subject. As the market is the requirementof digital Network system, NVR (Network Video Recorder) system, with its convenientmanagement method and effective real-time transmission and high-definition video qualityhas become the dominant market, also becomes the main scheme in Video monitoringsystem. NVR (Network Video Recorder) and IPC(IPcamera) are the main products in thefield of security, but also the focus of research.Direction of this thesis is based on a project named HI3531NVR system development,from a security company of wuhan. The author participated in the layer of NVR and IPCcommunication layerof the project, including from the project’s overall architecture,hierarchical design, needs analysis, writing a detailed design document and coding andmaintaining the project. And then, the author put forward the innovative solutions thatdouble segment, and some other ideas.By participating in the project, the author has a deepunderstanding and research for IPC management and streaming media transmission of theNVR system, and a secondary development experience the ONVIF protocol and Live555open source project. In the field of video surveillance, in order to insure the productspecification, industry standard has always been the focus of the research and development,at the same time, for products’ purpose of real-time monitoring, real-time transmissionscheme is also become the key to the study. And, as a result of the need of integration, theNVR system based on embedded system becomes more and more popular in the market.As a result, the paper title is the design on ONVIF protocol and Live555open sourceprojec for NVR system.At first, this paper research the research’ background and significance of the videomonitoring system, analyzes the development present situation and developing trend ofvideo monitoring system. In the next place, it has carried on the explanation to the keytechnology of video monitoring system, including the streaming media technology, such as the Live555streaming media server and ONVIF protocol specification, moreover theplatform,design methods and the overall architecture of the NVR system, to explain thefunction of various modules between them. And then, the software architecture of thesystem module will be illustrated one by one. Finally this paper is goning to study theexisting defects in the NVR system and the corresponding solutions, and put forward someimprovement opinions and corresponding design thinking.
