The Design And Implementation Of Primary Monitoring Platform Based On Onvif In Highway Video Surveillance Networking

The existing highway video surveillance system is independent,so the provincial traffic management department can not fully grasp the traffic operation sitiuation of the entire highway network. Currently, each province in China are actively promoting the construction of the highway video surveillance networking system,which will improve the management level of administrative departments. In the process of achieving highway video surveillance networking, each province commonly adopt three-level structure of provincial traffic group monitoring center, road segment monitoring sub-centers and primary monitoring sub-centers,and the monitoring centers at all levels use SIP protocol as signaling interaction protocol.With the progress of highway video surveillance networking,standardized network vid-eo surveillance products which conform to the ONVIF specification will be more widely used in highway video surveillance system. This paper designed and implemented a primary monitoring management platform software which can access devices supporting ONVIF specification according to requirements analysis of primary monitoring management plat-form,and this platform software includes four modules:main control module, SIP interface, ONVIF interface, transformation module of SIP and ONVIF. The SIP interface is responsible for the communication with road segment monitoring platform;devices which conform to ONVIF specification can be linked to the primary monitoring management platform through ONVIF interface;when primary monitoring management platform receive SIP messages from road segment monitoring management platform, SIP messages are transformed to SOAP messages which will be send to devices,and SOAP messages from devices are trans-formed to SIP messages which will be send to the road segment monitoring management platform.ONVIF specification is based on the Web Services architecture,therefore this paper firstly introduces the Web Services. On this basis,this paper analyzes the content of the ONVIF specification, and then introduces the SIP protocol, RTP protocol and other related content. Secondly, this paper designs SIP interface functions, ONVIF interface functions,and describe in detail the implementation process of the SIP interface, ONVIF interface, trans-formation between SIP protocol and ONVIF specification. Finally, related functions of pri-mary monitoring management platform were tested.
