With the rapid development of modern science and technology, especially the manufacturing technology combines with the microelectronics technology, computer technology, information technology and other technology, it has taken revolutionary changes, the processing equipment continue to improve, the function of the equipment shows a composite trend, and the performance of the equipment towards high-speed, more precision, more intelligence. In the cutting process, as to the requirement of increasing the machining precision, but acquire processing vibration, cutting force, temperature and other parameters are very important for analyzing the cutting quality, the influence of tool life and rules. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a kind of intelligent system based on ZigBee wireless communication technology, which used in the cutting process to collect data and dispose information, realizing to sample signal, transmit-receive data by wireless and real-time monitoring.This paper researches micro-nano sensors and system which belongs to the "National High Technology Research and Development Program of China" used for cutting process monitoring. The main task is to build a wireless sensor network, acquire the cutting force and tempreture, and transmit them to the host computer by wireless. Since the method of detecting cutting force and temperature is still in the theoretical stage, so we use the temperature and humidity sensor DHT11and temperature sensor DS18B20to instand of the sensor which used to detect the cutting force and temperature, use the ZigBee wireless RF module produced by allianz company in Shenzhen, build a star wireless sensor networks for data transmission, use the LabVIEW virtual instrument to design the user interface, imitate the signal detection, wireless data transceiver and real-time monitoring in cutting process.The paper builds the star wireless sensor network based on ZigBee wireless communication technology, achieving the signal which detected by the sensor DHT11and DS18B20to transmit by wireless, after that we use the graphical software development platform LabVIEW to monitor and dispose the data which have been received. This set of system’imitates a wireless sensor network used in the cutting process, it has low power consumption, stable and reliable data transmission, flexible networking, low cost and other advantages, just replacing the sensor, it can be applied to the actual machining process, so it has more significance to implement the intelligent of the cutting process.
