Information technology help the educational reform being the education sector as a keydevelopment direction constantly raised, where audio and video coding technology and relatedtransmission control technology is one of the most important means to break the dependence onspace-time traditional teaching mode. audio and video through efficient encoding and transmissiontechnology allows students and teachers wherever, whenever, as long as there is relatively reliablenetwork access immersive teaching effectiveness can be achieved now rely ongeneral-purpose.CPU bottleneck exists in the coding capacity is weak, the high cost of a dedicatedchip is also another key issue of how to reduce the bandwidth requirements, as now GPUprogrammability and high performance computing rising, high-speed synchronous video encodingprovides a huge space. In this paper, the use of GPU encoding capabilities were used in a remotepart of the study of interactive teaching and try to summarize some of the solutions to some of theproblems encountered in the process of attempting to analyze and solve specific work follows:(1) understand and analyze the development status of audio and video technology in the field ofdistance education, defined the future direction of development, that is, high-definition video,multi-dimensional perspective, network requirements of ordinary, real-time transmissioncharacteristics.(2) comparing the aspect of the distal end gathering, analysis, technology(3) GPU overview, analysis H.264encoding technology overview, CPU and GPUs codingcoding comparison made GPUs parallel coding technology solutions.(4) OpenCL technology and its application in parallel video coding.(5) INTEL Media SDK applications(6) Audio and video streams to send, based on the transmission RTMP protocol implementationand the situation will improve with the UDP to achieve control of the control protocol(7) The design of the external layer of the program to achieve the performance and embeddedoperating systems cut made.(8) proposed unresolved issues and directions for future research.
