The current4G mobile communication system is developing rapidly, a newgeneration of mobile communication systems can provide high data rates for users,to provide users with high transmission rate. With the3G mobile network physicallayer in CDMA technology as the core, the4G mobile communication system can providehigh data transmission rate up to100Mb/s or even higher communication services. Toachieve such a high rate and large capacity communication requires a very highspectrum efficiency transmission technology. Orthogonal frequency divisionmultiplexing (OFDM) technology is a very efficient multi carrier modulation technique,the multi carrier can be orthogonal to each other, to differentiate users by assigningdifferent subcarriers for different users. MIMO technology is essentially in thesending end and receiving end respectively using a plurality of sending/receivingantenna, regardless of the size of antenna spacing, thereby improving for eachcommunication terminal user quality of service, improve the communication qualityand data rate. The physical layer of4G mobile communication will take OFDM as thecore, taking MIMO technology as auxiliary, will greatly enhance the frequencyspectrum using rate.This paper first discusses the development and evolution of mobile communicationtechnology, then introduces the network structure of LTE, including the impact ofthe whole structure, the wireless protocol structure and FDD, TDD frame structureand the synchronous development; through the description of OFDM technology, the MIMOTD-LTE system of multiple antennas, OTDM link adaptive technology, development andapplication to introduce the core technology of LTE system; the antenna technologydevelopment of mobile wireless communication system in the network construction andcoverage capacity are analyzed, the depth of coverage problem is described; thecontrol case through the planning and construction of wireless network operators LTEand wireless network downlink power, provide some reasonable directions for theResearch on the key technology of the next generation of mobile communication.
