In recent years, with the rapid development of manufacturing process and the fall of chipprices, the embedded systems have get a lot of applications in the control and monitoring fields.This embedded monitoring system mainly achieves the goal of communications with both upperand lower computer, and gets control data constantly from the slave computer, and shows the statusinformation of the antenna has been tracked. This monitoring system that used this implementationmethod could meet the requirements of real-time and has ample application prospects.The LEO satellite monitoring system this topic studied have made several references to theoriginal PC stationary satellite monitoring system developed by our laboratory, however this systemhas been developed by using an embedded platform. First, this paper introduces the backgroundknowledge and analyzes the function of earth station monitoring system, and put forward theimplementation plan by combining with the development of the monitoring technology; Then itdiscusses in detail the hardware design of monitoring system and software development processesand functions of each module; finally we use MFC programming to complete serial, socket processcommunication and other functions and complete the design of monitoring system. MFCprogramming with its rich API enables software development easier and faster. The design uses aseparate sub-module design ideas, making the development more efficient and simple, besides it haslow coupling between modules and has high maintainability.The design of this system interface is intuitive and simple. User can easily complete the relatedoperations. We use C++language to finish the development of this monitoring system.
