With the rapid development of the network, there are a great number of network users andnetwork device become more and more diversity, so people focus on how to improve the security ofthe network.In this thesis, itproposes a network monitoring system can be a good solution tonetwork security and efficiency issues. The main idea is that the front-end device is for collectingthe data from the internet and back-stage management server is for packet analysis, analysis ofnetwork data, to identify the location of suspicious packets, and analyze network traffic types anddistribution of user services to provide strategic support for carriers flow from operating.Back-Stage Management System for Network Monitoringmain to complete the followingaspects:(1)Provides policy management for front-end terminalof network monitoringsystem.(2)Locates the target host based on feedback from security incidents and killvirus.(3)Conducts business statistics classified according to the packet data collection terminalacquisition, providing strategic support.(4)Restoresdata and playback the media.The main task of this thesis is to design and develop a back-stage management system ofnetwork monitoring, and the experimental results show, analysis and statistics.The main work is asfollows:(1) Analysis of the working principle of network monitoring systems, network infrastructureand applications, then make a clear division of labor on front-end and back-end workpatterns.(2) Design a back-stage management system of network monitoring based on ICEmiddleware.Including front-end and back-ICE-based communication module, thebackground function module and interface module.(3) According to the design of each module, achieve the development of the networkmanagement system to monitor backstage by program development tools.(4) Exhibit the interface of the back-stage management system and analyze the performance byresults.
