A Study Of The Viruses-like Spreading Model Online In The View Of The Media History

The most notable phenomenon in 21cuntury is the prosperity of internet, which makes other media fade out and the most dazzling and spectacular scenes in the roaring internet world are some instants that break out inexpertly and brake abruptly one after another, like "Sister Furong", "Bun Murders Series", "Tongxu Gate Event" and so on. Although such network texts look somewhat ridiculous, a kind of amazing power of spreading is shown in this process. Who endows the instants with such magic power is going to be discussed in this paper.View of the spreading model of the incidents so similar to the viruses, it is defined as viruses-like spreading model in his paper. In fact, such spreading model is not only on internet, but also on other media since the age of interpersonal communication. However, the viruses-like spreading model online is quite different from it is on traditional media on a lot of aspects, such as outbreak, transmission, impaction and dissipation.This paper tries to seek the commonness of all the instants with viruses-like spreading model and the particularities of the viruses-like spreading model online by reviewing some typically instants in history. Meanwhile, the reasons of the existence of these particularities are given by way of analyzing the whole media system and people's actions on media. In the end this study shows that there are two origins of these instants with viruses-like spreading model on internet. One is based on the media system which evolves from simple to complexity while the other is the inheritance and aberrance of people's emotional action on media at the age of internet.Besides, it is hoped that this paper can offer a kind of new vision of internet system. That is complex system science. There must be much more surprise to the study of internet communication in the case of the combination of complex systems and humanity.
