Nowadays, the increasing development of urbanization in our country brings not only a convenient and modern life in city, but also rapidly increasing problems in urban-safe area. Specifically," establishing the major decisions social stability risk assessment mechanism, strengthening the public security system and enterprise safety infrastructure construction, curbing major workplace accidents ",which is said in the "18th CPC National Congress", means our country is increasingly concerned on city-safe and social stability. Visualization technology development at the same time, from the initial2d,simple,forms of point, line and plane to more diverse ways-such as the virtual reality technology, heat maps and the violin figure etc., however, the application of visualization in the field of urban risk monitoring is still stay on the icon, color rendering etc. simple expression. Based on the above situation, in the thorough understanding and analyzing of current urban risk monitoring system, designing and implementing a urban risk visual platform based on grid concept of risk assessment.First of all, the platform uses popular urban grid risk supervision concept. According to the characteristic of present situation of Xicheng district in Beijing, designing the urban grid risk evaluation method and divising and coding the Xicheng district map. Therefore making the supervision distribution more uniform and reasonable and the risk assessment method more conforms to the Xicheng district risk status. Second, the platform with more diversity ways, showing the characteristics of urban risk data-the urban data’s three-dimensional display on the spatial dimension based on FME and timeline display showing dynamic change of urban risk data on the time dimension. Finally, platform using popular HTML5Web Storage technique and REST Web Service technology makes the system lightweight, greatly accelerated the speed of the risk analysis, and achieving the intelligent, diversified and efficient supervision of the risk of Xicheng district of Beijing city.
