Abstract As one of the two major4G standards, TD-LTE is considered the evolution of TD-SCDMA.TD-LTE has a series of advantages of high spectrum efficiency, high rate, low delay, always online etc..By the end of2013, China Mobile started construction of TD-LTE commercial network in more than300cities nationwide, Hohhot as Inner Mongolia provincial capital city, The first phase of the TD-LTE project is planning coverage all city and county area.At the end of20145, the4G network coverage has reached the level of3G network.In this paper, the main content is divided into the following sections:The first part briefly introduce the development history of mobile communication, and TD-TLE development history and the status quo, analysis of the characteristics of TD-TLE technique and the improved and the original communication systems, highlights the important role of network planning in TD-TLE network, and briefly introduce the TD-LTE network planning process and key point.The second part mainly expounds the important characteristics of TD-LTE network, and the effect on network planning and construction from TD-LTE network structure andcharacteristics,and the key technology.The third chapter introduce the TD-LTE network planning simulation based on Atoll software for the coverage,and capacity,and interference.The fourth part introduce the adjustment of propagation model in of dense urban area.Then simulate the planning area coverage, SINR, edge download rate. According to the simulation results,come up with proposals for adjustment of the site distribution and Parameter setting.The fifth chapter is a brief summary of the key points.
