Implementation Of Cell Reselection Test Cases In TD-LTE/GSM RRM Conformance Test System

Along with the award of TD-LTE licences, the global commercialization of TD-LTE system has raised the curtain, and the era of TD-LTE terminals has arrived. However, our society has a long way to go to the maturity of the TD-LTE system. As the most mature development system, GSM is well known by the people. So, the system interoperability betweet TD-LTE system and GSM system seems to become particularly important. And cell reselection mobility behavior as the main technology in idle state has been the main research topic in recent years.As one of the three TD-LTE terminal conformance test systems, the conformance test system of RRM is to test the terminal performance such as cell relection and handover. Cell reselection is the mobility behavior in idle mode, and the terminal should decide to measure and judge to reselect.Firstly, this thesis describes the background of the research and the basic theory of the relection from TD-LTE system to GSM system. After that, the thesis has proposed a scheme on the method of cell relection from TD-LTE system to GSM system based on TTCN-3language. Finally, the author implements the testcases based on TTCN-3language and verify it.In addition, the testcase of the cell relection from TD-LTE system to GSM system has been successfully applied to the TD-LTE terminal certification and it has passed the GCF global certification.
