The industrialization process of TD-SCDMA is now advanced vigorously. It isvery important that ensuring IOT(Interoperability Test)test of UE to promote thehealthy development of the industry chain. Only the UE finish the Iu interface testingfor interoperability to ensure that different manufacturer of wireless access networkand core network can interoperate, and only the UE finish the Uu interface testing forinteroperability to ensure that each equipment can interoperate between mobile phoneand wireless access system. This research is derived from the project “TD-SCDMAterminal protocol analytic test set”of a domestic technology company limited.With the process of theoretical research, high layer protocol functional analysis,writing test plan and cases scenario, writing adapter layer and system debugging,achieved the design and implementation of test set. It is helpful for chip manufacturerto detect the UE in a specific network configuration environment terminalperformance while running some scenarios, to confirm the terminal can be stable,reliable and run correctly, to ensure the quality of mobile phone chips, which make amajor contribute for the vigorous development of the TD-SCDMA industry chain.This thesis, divided into five chapters. Firstly, the knowledge of IOT system andthe hardware and software architectures of IOT test set. And then, the interoperabilitytest and testing scheme based on TTCN are discussed. Again, implementation of testcases and adaptation layer are described in details, and then test cases are verified andanalyzed. Finally, the whole thesis is concluded and the outlook of IOT test set isexpected.The characteristics of the test system has a standardized and modular. The presentit can support PS Data(r4、r5、r7)、SMS、State Transition(sCell_DCH to Cell_FACH/Cell_FACH to Cell_PCH/HS-DSCH and Cell FACH)、TD <-> GSM Redirection、TD <-> GSM Reselection、TD <->TD Reselections、TD-> GSM CCO(cell changeorder)、N-Frequency、TDS <-> GSM Priority Reselections、HHO or BHO(Intra、 Inter)、DsDS(Dual SIM,Dual Standby)、DMO、Ciphering and so on. This systemwill be plays a role in the guarantee and improve the interoperability of TD-SCDMAmobile phone. The system can be used for mobile phone manufacturers, chip makerssuch as research and development, testing, production, also can be used in the relevantnational certification department, operators and other net certification.
