Internet of Things(IOT) combines sensor technology, embedded system technology,wireless communication technology, network technology and computer softwaretechnology, is a fast developing technology. It acquires parameters and carries outintelligent control by coordinating various systems in the target area, the data can be sentover the network to the data center to storage and calculate. It has broad applicationprospects in the field of military defense, environmental monitoring, agricultural andindustrial control, bio-medical, rescue and disaster relief, as well as commercialapplications. RFID is one of the key technologies on IOT, it has a natural advantage interminal data collection. At the same time, Wi-Fi technology is the most widely usedwireless LAN technology. Realizing Internet access by Wi-Fi technology is of importantvalue of work in the Internet of Things.The project main focus on the application of RFID and Wi-Fi technology in theInternet of Things, in which we designed an IOT sensing terminal based on RFID andWi-Fi technology. Introduce RFID and Wi-Fi technology into a small volume and low-costembedded systems in the form of "ARM+Wi-Fi SoC+RFID SoC". I developed the driverfor RFID chip and Wi-Fi chip on the physical layer and transplanted embedded TCP/IPprotocol stack on the network layer and the transport layer, after that I developed the upperlayer application which could send acquisition data by socket. At last, I developed theWi-Fi sphygmomanometer with RFID function and put it into clinical use, now the systemworks well.This article first outlines the research background and the research status at home andabroad, after that it introduces the relevant knowledge and theory of the Internet of Thingsand Wi-Fi technology. Then it list the detailed development process of the Wi-Fi chip driverand the embedded TCP/IP protocol stack. Finally, it introduces the hardware design,software design and testing process of Wi-Fi thermometer. After tested, the system reaches the primary goal, and makes a useful exploration of RFID and Wi-Fi technology in theInternet of Things.
