Status Analysis And Improvement Research On Library’s Digital Resource Construction In Universities Of Chinese Medicine In Our Country

With the popularity of computer applications and Internet access, information technology entered a high growth path. The development of information technology has changed the production, storage, transmission of literature resources, as well as the ways and channels of knowledge dissemination. As the literature resources distributing center, the library in college and university has began to establish the system of digital resources, however, could not get enough attention.This topic research revolves around our country university library digital resource construction situation of traditional Chinese medicine, combined with the development trend of university library in the information age, through some investigation and analysis, try to our country university of Chinese medicine in the process of library digital resource construction discusses the existing problems and deficiencies, and attempts to put forward the corresponding improvement measures.The main research methods are:Internet survey, content analysis, comparison analysis, questionnaire, etc.This article is divided into five chapters. Chapter1is the introduction, which mainly introduces background and significance of the topic, research status at home and abroad, and purpose, content, methods, ideas, innovations of the research. Chapter2is mainly concerned with the research foundation, which manifests briefly the development of library from traditional to digital, from the perspective of the huge influence of information age that has brought to the form and function of library. With interpretations to digitalization, digital resources, digital library and other basic concepts, as well as the concise introduction of the "National Digital Library Project", this article clarifies the importance of digital resources and possible cognitive misunderstandings in library construction over an information age. Chapter3demonstrates the research design, operation and analysis. In this chapter, prospective users of library in XX university of Chinese medicine are asked by a questionnaire on the satisfaction with the existing digital resources in the library. The data collected in the questionnaires are calculated and analyzed, so as to better understand the general situation concerned with the digital resource construction and the tendency of users’ demand in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine in our country. Chapter4presents the research results and some related measurements. Considering the enormous challenges and opportunities that libraries are confronted with in the information age, the new responsibilities are indicated that they may possibly come out from the library construction in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine in our country. What’s more, the holistic idea and suggestions for improvement are also proposed in this chapter within the background of library’s digital resource construction. The fifth chapter is conclusion and reflection, which provides a summery of the study results the shortcomings.
