| For the past few years, the management and maintenance service of students’data information of have been increasing consistently due to a bigger intake of students in China. A severe lack of software which focus on the students’quality evaluation is obvious in spite of considerable management software has been designed for sake of students’management. Most of them yet has offered basic functions such as storage, and search, but a deeper development of data research, analysis and calculation is still in demand. This leads a difficulty to the students’ managers, they encounter with burdensome manual work like awarding records, inspection of desire in joining PRC, graduation recommendation, which ought to be conducted by the software. Confronting a giant student information base and a slow efficiency of processing any routine work, an improvement of the calculating and analyzing system needs to be solved.Engaging in the front-line work of a students’counselor in college, author obtains the researching resource from work. The case study conducted in this article is the Project of Students’Overall Quality Assessment of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College, which applies the B/S system, SSH framework technology, JAVA and SQL Server2005data base. A focus of backdrop of the system development and major issues needed to be solved unfolds, and then an analysis of basic requirement of software is conducted. After confirming the required function of the system, designing of system module and data base, the entering, examining and verifying the data of the Students’Overall Quality Assessment will be realized. This system can record all of the point data and process data of every student, from the enrollment of school to the obtaining of a job, this can definitely provide abundant essential data to the decision support management of colleges and universities. This paper to calculate the weight of each index to evaluate the comprehensive quality of students by using the AHP method, according to the weight value as the key attribute mining base of students’comprehensive quality information, thereby reducing the mining base attribute, avoid excessive mining field, resulting in the decision tree is too large, the formation of mining rules without good effect evaluation the phenomenon, thereby reducing the mining workload, improve the efficiency of data mining. Through the use of decision tree C4.5algorithm, constructed the students comprehensive quality evaluation model based on decision tree, classification rules are generated by decision tree, and the rules are analyzed, the influence factors of the comprehensive quality of students, put forward the suggestion for the decision mechanism of student management work, make the correct guidance for students’personal development.The research indicates that, the application of data mining over students’information data can offer an efficient assistance on students’management. The development of Students’Overall Quality Assessment System of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College makes the routine management of students more efficient and specific and, will turn out to be an indispensable approach for managers to promote their work. |
