BEPCII is a major upgrading and transformation project of the Beijing electron-positron collider, and the laboratory equipment has improved significantly, there are more new requirements for the control system for water cooling, so the water cooling monitoring system needs to be redesigned and improved to meet the requirements of various physical experiment equipment normal and stable operation of the BEPCII.This thesis gives a design of a new cooling water control system based on the investigate and survey of the related research at home and abroad, including the analysis and design of water cooling monitoring system. Then this thesis introduces the design and assign of the hardware and software, the main research of hardware and software includes as follows:the working principle of the hardware system, including PLC, industrial PC, sensors and actuators; the design of software, including the software development of PLC control program and upper unit state engineering software, and then expounds the main characteristics and development process of iFIX3.5configuration software, introduces the design and application of the Fuzzy-PID compound controller in this system. And the functional test indicates that this monitoring system can satisfy the requirements of temperature control and other process requirements, then we complete the design and development of the whole system.In general, this thesis takes the advantages of the related research at home and abroad and eliminates the drawbacks,completes the design and development of a new cooling water control system based on PLC, which has a high temperature control precision, a high response speed, and the system also has cost and stabilization advantages. The water monitoring system has gone through test and has put into use, which can remain stable and reliable in operation, and can meet all the requirements for water cooling process.
