With the development of industry, measuring technology requirements aregetting higher and higher.The laser measuring technology has become anindispensable online measurement technology measuring instruments, which has beenwidely applied to various industrial. This paper studied the laser triangulation methodand the basic principles of structured light on the electrical part of thetwo-dimensional laser displacement sensor design.We use the programmable logicdevice FPGA as the core control chip, mainly to complete the works as:(1) Based onlaser triangulation, a mathematical model of2D laser displacement sensor is built,and the overall design of2D laser displacement sensor is given.(2) Deeplyunderstanding of the principles of area array CCD imaging system, based onICX285AL area CCD image acquisition hardware circuits, which includes CCD drivecircuit and FPGA module, specifically the use of EP3C25F256A7FPGA core controlchip to complete ICX285AL driver, AD9824use the image signal amplification,de-noising, use SDRAM memory for image data storage, and finally the use of USBinterface chip to transmit image data memory to be displayed on the PC.(3) For thehardware platform, based on Verilog language we completed2D laser displacementsensor information collection system electrical sequential logic design, and imageacquisition circuit modules, including CCD driver module, A/D converter module, aswell as temporal logic SDRAM module simulation output.(4) For the characteristicsof structured light stripe, it is subject to a Gaussian filter, then processing, the finalstructure of the light strip center line extraction algorithm research.After comparingthe advantages and disadvantages of several methods, finally adopted Stegeralgorithm to determine the structure of the normal vector of the light strip center, so asto realize the extraction of structured light strip center, and the cursor is set theory tostudy the structure, convert the image to achieve a two-dimensional space coordinates,then we could restore the object’s surface profile.
