With the rapid development of our economy and the popularity of informationtechnology, enterprises and institutions of the IT assets is increasing, the management ofthe assets is becoming more and more complex. In the face of a growing number ofsoftware and hardware system, how to ensure information security, increase theefficiency, and so on, has become the enterprise daily need to solve the new task.Therefore, developing and applying the IT asset management system is an effectivemeans of management.In the enterprise and institutions asset management process, the purchasingmanagement is a very important link and the inventory management is an indispensablepart. And as time goes on, thetraditional way will produce many difficulties.This paper discusses the design and implementation of purchasing and inventorymanagement module of IT assets management system, and the system is on the basis ofthe XX Hotel information platform. Design and implement the four modules ofpurchasing management, inventory management, application approval management andpersonal asset management. System development based on the J2EE architecture, usingthe Ajax and XML technology, and uses the Oracle database as the database system.Ajax technology base on the asynchronous request will ensure the high efficiency of thesystem operation. XML technology will make the system more convenient maintenanceand extension. Oracle database will ensure the stability of the system operation.Through development and implementation of the system, make the assetpurchasing management, inventory management, application approval management and personal asset management and the other business management more professional andgreatly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of XX Hotel.
