Design&Implementation Of Bank Credit Card Department Staff Information Management System

With the fresh science and technology development in this new century as well as theoverall opening of China’s finance industry, the main part of China’s bank system,state-owned banks, is confronting various challenges, of which the emerging commercialbanks and many foreign banks are included. Therefore, establishing a set of staffinformationization management system suitable for the state-owned banks situation will playa dominant role in their splendid victory. This kind of system will enable the state-ownedbanks to enhance their staff management capability, strengthen their competitive capabilitiesand increase the bank staff’s service skills.Along with the rapid strategic transformation of state-owned banks and the developmentof new management patterns, credit card business has made great progress, and the number ofrelevant personnel is also growing, which brings unprecedented challenges to human resourcemanagement assessment. Meanwhile, staff information management system of credit carddepartments of banks also comes into being. Based on the analysis of our current staffmanagement system of the Credit Card Department, this paper discusses the problems andconflicts in the real work, and points out the shortcomings of our bank in the implementationof the management mechanism. References here include staff appraisal programs, staffattendance management, staff’s basic wage calculation and payoff rules, employeeperformance appraisal and the distribution of performance related pay, and staff performanceand performance related pay distribution method as well as the method and plan of motivatingstaff to enhance their performances.This system mainly targets for the staff of the Credit Card Department, aiming to solveproblems of excessive employees, weak personnel management and incomplete personnelinformation. It is easy to use with the visual operation feature. The main idea of this paper isto build a small database and export the existing staff information from the old attendance system. Meanwhile employees are required to renew and perfect the information online. Thebasic information of the Credit Card Department staff will be managed and staff attendancewill be recorded. The system is used for data processing and scientific computing, so as toachieve personalized analysis and calculate performance and wages.This paper is based on Visual Studio provided by Microsoft for users to create intelligentterminals. It is an easy and fast development tool for building and integrating Web Servicesand some client application programs. The operational tool C#that could be run in.NETFramework is used, which is also the real object-oriented super development tool released byMicrosoft. SQL Server database management system is employed to build a credit carddepartment staff management system based on C/S framework.This system is expected to realize the following goals.1. Obtain the basic staffinformation in the original system, and solve problems of complex operation and incompleteinformation of the old system.2. Add new staff information entry interface, and reduce thecumbersome processes of information collection.3. Realize personalized and convenientoperation and interface, making it easy for ordinary credit card department staff to operate.4.Improve integrated data processing and data authority management, so as to prevent data lossand strengthen data secrecy.5. Improve staff management efficiency and simplify workdifficulty with accessible software, so as to speed up the establishment of the staffmanagement system.This paper has extended detailed description for each process, involving the currentstatus of research and development significance, tools and running environment forcompleting this system, relevant technologies applied, design demands and analysis, the planand realization of each functional module, the development and realization of database, etc.
