With the increasing acceleration of our country’s highway construction, we also havehigher demands for highway management. As a major part of highway management, roadmanagement is mainly responsible for the management of the resources and facilities of thehighway. In the current context of information technology, manual management methods havebeen far from satisfying the needs of road management. This paper presents the design andimplementation of road management information system based on.NET, commissioned bythe Yichun Municipal Highway Administration bureau, aims to realize the informatization andstandardization of road management to effectively improve road management through theconstruction of road management information system.The road management information system discussed in this paper id designed in strictaccordance with the basic idea of software engineering. The waterfall development model isused to complete the demand analysis, design, coding implementation as well as the test ofthe system. The system is constructed on the.NET Framework3.5platform. Based on B/Sdeployment structure, the design pattern of three-layer system allows the system to keepbetter maintainability, while modularized programming approach allows the system tomaintain the characteristics of low coupling, high cohesion and good expansibility. Thesystem uses C#as the programming language, using the SQL Server2005as the systemdatabase, which mainly realizes the functions such as case management, approvalmanagement, vehicle management, violation management, road asset management andstatistical query and carries out a detailed design of the business processes of each functionalmodules. Meanwhile, this paper analyzes the design of database systems, focusing on theanalysis of the concept structure and the logical structure of the database. And from the pointof view of security policy, the completion of the security architecture of the system, accesscontrol security, logging, and data security mechanisms designed. After the test, this systemcan meet the needs of users of the target system and correctly perform the business logic andoutput the expected results. It can operate well under the expected load, which is a practicalroad management information system.The construction of road management information system of Yichun provides a simple, unified, convenient and efficient road management platform for road management staff,which helps to further standardize road administration business processes, improve roadmanagement efficiency and realize the sharing of road information resources.
