RF Amplifier plays an important role in modern communication system, with its key role turning tiny RF signals into power signals and transferring them into antenna system. The amplifier consumes most of the energy used by communication system, as a result, it is quite important for researchers to improve the efficiency and stability of RF Amplifier in the future.Class-E amplifier holds excellent linearity and high efficiency, especially in VHF band, making it widely used in military and industrial communication occasions. With deep understanding of its functioning scheme and the help of ADS simulation tool, A type of class-E amplifier working in300MHZ is designed, with a36dBm output power and a22dB gain, during which period quiescent point, stability analyst, impendence matching and simulation test are accomplished. In RF circuits, Power synthesizer can be used to gather several power sources into one without affecting each other. Among them, Wilkinson is well known for its high efficiency and simple structure. A type of Wilkinson power synthesizer working in300MHZ band and high voltage condition is designed, that means two output ports of class-E amplifiers can be synthesized into one, doubling the output power.During the final period, a PCB is designed and produced, as well as a heat dissipation mask with shielding function. In the end, a test system composed of DC power, RF signal generator, attenuator and spectrum analyzer is set up to test the performance of RF amplifier system.
