With the development of smart sensors and distributed information processing systems, the Smart Cities, Smart Transportation, Intelligence Community and other large-scale applications has become the hotspot of current researches on IoT. A large number of sensor nodes have been widely deployed in every corner of a target area, to collecting the sensing data of the target events. It is difficult to solve the load imbalance, which is caused by the massive data transmission in large-scale wireless sensor networks. In order to achieve the efficient data transmission, the clustering and cooperative communication technology were introduced by the domestic and foreign scholars in wireless sensor networks. When nodes in a cluster need to transmit the sensing data, the cluster head nodes consider multiple factors, to schedule network resources and coordinate the cooperative transmission mode. Therefore, the cooperative communication technology of cluster head nodes can improve the network performance. It is effective for network load balance in wireless sensor networks.In this paper, the cooperative communication based on cluster head node is studied in wireless sensor networks. The existing algorithms of cooperative communication usually consider the distance and residual energy of nodes in wireless sensor networks, but other factors also have effect on the performance of the network, and the network need adapt to the complex environment. In order to solve the existing problems of these schemes, different characteristics of cooperation nodes and cluster nodes, were used to design the inter cluster cooperation strategy and combined transmission scheduling strategy within the clusters.In this paper the spectrum conditions and channel quality of network were mainly considered. For the cluster member nodes, we proposed the joint transmission strategy. After the cluster head node received the feedback information of the sink node, it can judge the channel quality of the network, and then select the optimal modulation transmission trunk link, and transmit the sensing data. It is effective to improve the efficiency of data transmission. For cluster head nodes, we proposed the collaborative scheduling strategy. That is, the cluster head nodes can choose the direction of data transmission and cooperative transmission nodes, according to the spectrum occupancy of adjacent nodes. It can improve the spectrum utilization efficiency, and reduce the competition among nodes. Finally, we use Matlab simulation tool to simulate the proposed two strategies in wireless sensor networks, then the proposed algorithms have better performance.
