Three-dimensional printing technology is based on digital model file, using the polymer powder, wire, film, metal powder, ceramic powder materials, such as three-dimensional entity structure by means of stepwise accumulation of parts technology (namely "material manufacturing technology"). In recent years, the three-dimensional printing technology, and the resulting new industry pattern become academia, industry, investors and policy makers to focus and one of the national science and technology for a new direction,and its application field is also very extensive. Three-dimensional printing technology provides a complex art production possibilities, it is easier to implement than traditional mould process manufacturing. In addition, the large size of art, traditional methods are mostly designers make small proportion of the work, and then made large scale according to the model with the number of craftsmen, artisans have different level of high and low, eventually works great distortion degree, but using three-dimensional printing digital manufacturing, the target model can be adjusted within the computer. To obtain high precision work of art through the high accuracy high efficiency printing production.Based on the Profile Invalidation Laser Rapid Prototyping and the Selective Laser Sintering of these two kinds of three-dimensional printing technology to study manufacturing process of making art. Research hot strength of precoated sand firstly,which is one of the laser three-dimensional printing materials, obtained the temperature and tensile strength of the relationship, post-processing of curing process for sand temperature parameter setting.Then reasearch the process program of making three dimensional sculpture sand and designing classification positioning indirect production complex structure of the metal parts by Profile Invalidation Laser Rapid Prototyping.Main including auxiliary integral body design, the parting surface design, equipment, process parameters and research of stripping solution. Reasearch the process program of sand production with complex structure and production mold parting which has less mould joint by the Selective Laser Sintering.Main including support design, the parting surface selection, machining parameters for exploration and research of post-processing. Obtained by the above two methods of forming casting mould, cooperate with the design of casting process to make metal samples, proving the feasibility of the scheme, providing technology reference to make a bigger size of metal art.
