Algorithms For Coverage Of Wireless Video Sensor Networks

Sensor network coverage is a hot issue in the field of applied mathematics and sensor research. Video sensor network is an important class of sensor network, it is mainly used for the target and area monitoring. Video sensor network coverage directly affects the monitoring ability. Coverage control is an important issue of video sensor network. A good covering algorithm can enhance the network coverage.In this paper we discuss the coverage problem of video sensor networks. Firstly the area coverage enhancement algorithm of wireless video sensor network is discussed. We solve the problem of enhancing sensor video sensor network coverage by adjusting location and direction of video sensor nodes. Secondly we discuss the question of the barrier coverage about wireless video sensor network, mainly talk about the video sensor network path covering enhancement algorithm.For the first question, we present a solution to the area coverage of video sensor networks. We apply particle swarm intelligent algorithm and virtual force algorithm to adjust the position and direction of video sensor nodes. The overlapping area and blind area had been reduced. The simulation verifies that the algorithm outperforms the virtual force algorithm.In this paper, in order to solve the second question, we present an integer programming model. We use the integer programming problem to find the most obstacles line of video sensor networks. The experimental results verify that the algorithm is efficiency.
