At present,Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)is widely applied in military counterterrorism,environmental monitoring,precision agriculture,health care,intelligent household and industrial control fields.When different types of sensor nodes are used for monitoring in WSNs,Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks(HWSNs)will be formed.In HWSNs,the key and basic question is coverage hole because sensor nodes are randomly spilled in the designated area by aircraft,which are used to monitor regional events that human beings are interested in.Due to the random node deployment,coverage hole is likely to generate in area like regional coverage and barrier coverage.In addition,the energy consumption is closely related to the life cycle of the whole network,thus the repair coverage hole must give way to energy consumption.This paper puts forward the following optimization method on model construction and hole reparation based on the regional coverage and barrier coverage.(1)When it comes to HWSNs regional coverage hole problems,an inter-node multifactor cooperation to effectively repair hole algorithm is proposed.First of all,the static nodes randomly deployed in HWSNs are divided into Voronoi polygons to determine the coordinates of the perceptual circle intersection points;Then,the key perceptual circle intersection points of each static nodes are connected to determine the coverage hole region,and the different shapes holes degenerate into a convex hull to calculate the location of virtual repair nodes;Finally,based on the virtual repair multi-factor collaborative relationship between nodes to be repaired and mobile nodes,a match decision table between nodes can be built and then move nodes in limited distance to optimize repair of coverage hole under the guidance of the decision table.(2)Intrusion detection in HWSNs is one of the key issues in barrier coverage research.Typically,the trajectory of an intruding target is tracked by deploying directed sensor nodes in a long,narrow,fenced strip area.Firstly,the Delaunay triangulation network of the initial nodes is constructed by the random increment method as the initial deployment model.Secondly,the low-energy nodes in the network model are repaired by the pre-deployed redundant nodes according to their distance,energy and importance.Finally,an intrusion node location tracking method based on point,surface and edge is proposed to transform the location problem of the intrusion target in the barrier network into a point location problem,and the intrusion node traversing model is constructed to continuously track the trajectory of the intrusion nodes.By analyzing the practical application scenarios of area coverage and barrier coverage,the Voronoi polygon,Delaunay triangle,convex hull and coverage holes in HWSNs are unified to build a model to repair holes.The simulation results show that the overall coverage rate and life cycle of the network can be improved under the premise of energy consumption priority in both the area coverage and barrier coverage under this optimized network model.
