This paper introduces the relationship between morden press and the technology of information embedding and extracting. At present, the printing industry has entered the informatization and intelligentize era, and it is combined with the information technology more and more closely. Under the premise of does not influence in print quality and not increase the cost of the printing, in the face of the packaging and printing company or certificates authenticate company escalates demands for anti-counterfeit measures, how to further improve the current print anti-counterfeit methods, enhance the capacity of prevent copy and anti-fake becomes a urgent issue to be solved. The machine vision technology has widely study and applicate in printing industry and it provides a new solution for print anticounterfeiting information extracting. This paper aim at the halftone anti-counterfeiting study status and the situation of application and combined with CCD detection technology put forwards a new halftone anti-counterfeiting method, also, it emphasis on the applied technology and solution in the realization process.This paper deeply studys the three key links of the halftone anti-counterfeiting implementation procedure which contains color separation and screening, security information embedding and security information extracting. In the same time, the anti-counterfeiting method has strong concealment of the security information, difficult to decipher, no influence on the print quality and security information detection is convenient and accurate. The method uses different area dot to replace the code chain to express the security information. Also, the method combines with the database technology that greatly increases the amount of the information characters. The method improves the efficiency of embedding information. In the link of the information detection, using CCD device to abtain the image, and applied technology of image processing and character extraction to realize obtain security information. This method does not need raster piece to detect and no additional print cost, it can complete any character of information embedding and extracting.This paper aims at the study of digital file to halftone. For different manuscripts, user sets different depth of the black plate that directly influences the color separation effect finally. At the same time, the color separation method mainly use the Rational Tangent Screening and SuperCell-based Screening idea to realize the corresponding relation between the pixel in manuscript and the grid in halftone image. Moreover, the generated image could contents the print requirements.Design and implementation of halftone anti-counterfeiting software, with the Microsoft Visual2010as development tool and combine with GDAL, system development language is C#, the database uses Access. This software realizes the function of color separation, security information embedding and extracting. A large amount of test experiment certificate that the software has strong running stability and highly accurate running results, also, the anti-counterfeiting operation has well speed and convenient to realize.
