Improvement Research Of Routing Protocol Based On Mobile Ad Hoc Network

With the development of wireless communication technologies, mobile Ad hoc network hasbeen paid more and more attention, which has not only been used in the military fields, but also hasbeen widely used in civil fields. Mobile Ad hoc network does not rely on the network infrastructure;it is a multi hop wireless network and can construct temporary networks rapidly. Routingtechnology is one of key technologies, which has gained wide attention, and the routing protocols ofhigh quality are the key to guarantee the performance of the network.This thesis discusses research background and multipath routing of mobile Ad hoc network,and makes some comparison on the classification of different routing protocols. In this thesis, arouting optimization method is given which is based on the typical on-demand multipath distancevector routing protocol AOMDV. In the improved protocol, two factors of node link load and noderesidual energy are considered, the route discovery mechanism and the maintenance mechanism areimproved, and the weight formula based on the two factors is given to select the main route oftransmission in several paths so that the source node can send data packets through the path withlight load and enough energy.The simulation results show that, the improved routing protocol given in this thesis reduces theaverage end to end delay, improves the packet delivery ratio and throughput, it can improves thenetwork performance effectively.
