In China, about60percent of all coal transport by rail, and rail coal loading directly affects the transport efficiency of coal. The topic for the actual situation of coal container station site, proposed a design of PLC-based control system, the system uses distributed control systems, PLC as a controller, an ordinary PC as a PC, improved coal monitoring and control of the level of container loading station control system.The design of the system controller is selected as the Siemens S7-300, using the STEP7hardware configuration and software structure to prepare control programs, complete signal data acquisition and automatic control of the sub-station site. Preparation of the corresponding WINCC industrial control interface via the PC configuration software and be reflected to achieve the on-site data storage and real-time monitoring.This paper introduces the background of the design, and then design the overall program and structure of the program set loaded coal loading station control system to determine the detection of fault protection devices and parameters. And the selection of SIEMENS S7-300series PLC hardware and software for the design of the entire system, including the PLC module configuration and external connections, ladder programming, WINCC monitor screen, etc., at the end of the paper briefly describes the system installation, commissioning and maintenance.
