Research And Design Of Maintenance Platform For Wireless Access Device Based On Generic Model

Nowadays, the wireless communication technology is developing rapidly. And thewireless communication devices are widely applied. The wireless repeaters are of highvalidity and economical efficiency while the wireless base stations are of high capability.Thanks to these advantages, they are popular with the operators and devoted into thecoverage and arrangement of wireless communication network. The working condition ofwireless access device is the assurance of the wireless communication’s quality. Thequality and stability of whole communication network lie on the running condition of thewireless access devices. However, the wireless repeaters and base stations may break downat any moment. The normal running condition will be broken by several factors such as theinfluence of the instable power supply in the working environment, the aging of thedevices and the interference source nearby and so on. So the application of thismaintenance platform to monitor and maintain the wireless access device in order to getthe fault informations in time and solve them as soon as possible is of high significance.However, the maintainence softwares all around the world are designed for devices ofgiven type, one platform is only for one specific kind of devices. These softwares are notonly a waste of source but also lack of use ratio and short of generality and flexibility. Thispaper gives researches on the unite maintenance of these two kinds of wireless accessdevices using generic programming thought based on the research of current maintenancesoftwares of repeaters and base stations to improve the generality and use ratio and alsomake the efficient management and maintenance for wireless access device come true.This system applies the C++language and visual c++6.0developing environmentcombining with the generic programming thought and object-oriented design thought. Itintroduces the research background,current developing situation and the necessity of thisproject at first. And then the theory of wireless repeater and base station are discussedincluding their maintenance systems. After that it describes related theory of this projectincluding generic design,division for the structure of the generic system and the generic treatment scheme. With that it introduces the designing achievement of protocol adaptivelayer interface layer and communication layer in detail. Then it gives tests on thesemaintenance platform and shows the operation methods of this platform.Finally, itsummarizes the whole article.
