In recently research projects, the types of protocol which supported by the openflow network are limited to the fields defined in openflow protocol. There are only commonly used several protocol fields are defined in the current openflow protocol, so that the capability of the software-defined networking is limited to the several types of protocol. To support more generally of different types of protocol, so that openflow should support multi-services.To deploy a new protocol and develop the related controller module upon the openflow network controller, they are needed to extending the protocol and functionality to satisfy the requirements. This feature in openflow network just got a very simple support. In addition to allowing openflow switch can identify the content of such an protocol, openflow network but also provide more other features in order to deploy a new protocol successfully, including topology discovery, dynamic deployment, bandwidth allocation, priority setting between multiple protocols and those related multi-protocol functions need to be assured that multiple protocols can be deployed on SDN network. In this thesis, the goal is supporting multi-protocol. By using the Openflow centralized control network features, explore the SDN controller supports multiple protocols on how to support a variety of protocols from all aspects of multi-service scenarios. This thesis first discusses the Openflow related technology and related technical and research support multiple protocols. Then present the overall design of multi-protocol architecture SDN controllers and switches supporting multi-protocol, and the overall design of one of the physical network controllers, and the physical network virtualization and virtual network resource management upon the physical controller overall design are discussed. After all, the various physical network controller functions implementations, as well as the up and down interactive interfaces are described in detail. Finally, the methods the system test and final test to verify the results, verify that the system supports multiple protocols for data formats, as well as for a variety of business resources isolation.
