With wireless is more and more popular in our country, people always hope that the coverge area of wireless base station is farther. However, no matter how large the downlink power of the wireless base station is, the uplink power of wireless client will seriously limit the coverge area of wireless base station as which is closely relately with the indexes of the wireless client. As a special wireless client device, CPE can access wireless network with the uplink frequency (2.4G/5G) and2.4G downlink frequency. The wireless coverge area of AP is4times the original with CPE as a bridging tool.It is required to achieve managing CPE with AC/FAP for the convenience, so we should send command and collect related CPE information in AC/FAP to achieve the target. As there is no stardard about transferring information between CPE and AC/FAP, it is important to design a private two layer protocol between CPE and AC/FAP to achieve the goal that AC/FAP can provide lightweight CPE management and get the operation information, equipment information and so on of CPE. The functions above can be completed separately in Centralized Authentication and Local Authentication. The paper designes and realizes a system which supports AP packages the information of CPE and reports it to the AC module for analysis and preservation while the communication tunnel between AP and AC is normal. The original CPEs are not off-line and the information of new on-line CPEs is stored in AP while the communication tunnel between AP and AC goes dead in Local Authentication. When the communication tunnel between AP and AC returns to normal, AP would upload the CPE related information to the AC to analysis and preserve, adopting batch report form. The project uses RAP application development, and we succeed to achieve the desired objective after all the stages of requirements analysis, preliminary design, coding, unit testing and system testing are over.
