Design And Implementation Of Wireless Video Surveillance System Based On Target Detection

With the improvement of technology, the applications of wireless sensor network are being developed from scalar data business to multimedia data business. Wireless video sensor network, as a kind of typical wireless sensor network, has widespread application prospect. According to the characteristics of video sensor network, we design a software for wireless video sensors, which is combined with moving object detection.In this thesis, we analyze the function and performance requirements of the software. We also introduce the principle and advantages of various moving object detection. Particularly, we mainly focus on realizing the method of background subtraction on embedded system and overcome its problems. Additionally. by using of the moving object detection function. we design a mechanisms for real time video transmissions for video sensors. It makes our sensor has lower data overhead when the video is transfered. For developing the software on embedded system, we divide this software into four parts. Through the experiment and test, as well as the contrast of data traffic in different work condition, we verify that the system is able to choose a suitable mode to transmit video data, in order to save the data traffic.
