The rapid development of mobile communication and the popularity wireless terminal have promoted the development of the terminal conformance testing instrument, Because of the powerful, much lower comprehensive cost and other advantages, multi-mode integrated detection instrument have much competitive in the telecommunication market. How to ensure the correct operation of the multi-mode hardware platform is a new problem, the author is responsible for the research and design of a self-test function based on the multi-mode and double channel hardware platform under the situation.This thesis will study the detection method of operation correctly based on a hardware platform which integrated of multiple DSP and three different communication technology such as LTE, TD-SCDMA, GSM. It is significance to the development of multi-mode and multi-channel terminal test equipment. The main contents is the three kinds of signal generation, modulation, signal transmission, reception and detection, describe the condition of the platform through a number of detection index. The main technology used come from the physical layer knowledge of some communication systems.The main content of this thesis is as follows:1. An overview of the characteristics of the multi-mode double channel hardware platform, gives the background and significance of the subject.2. Provides a study plan and goal of self-detection on function multimode double channel system, the plan mainly includes architectures of LTE, TD-SCDMA system simulation platform; In addition, a research of signal generation and some measurement index.3. Introduce the specific signal generation, send the signal, receiving and various indicators of detection in the self-check system. Besides, Some steps are involved in the system such as local signal generation, calculation and demodulation, DSP heartbeat, high-level primitives controller and report test results, etc.Signal frame is generated by QPSK and Midamble sequence, respectively for three kinds wireless frame format of GSM, TD-SCDMA, LTE. Also design the different lengths sequence and data mapping methods. According to the detection of received signal, related arithmetic function, demodulation and so on, to measurement cycle time delay, the continuity of the frame number, signal power, signal-to-noise ratio and other index.The last chapter makes a brief summarization of the whole thesis and put forward a prospect of the detection method.
