With the progress and development of society today, people’s demands for network applications are constantly changing in the direction of diversity, intelligence and personalization, therefore, the integration of multiple networks becomes the trend of network development. NGN architecture based on multi-network integration and providing multimedia integrated services has become a focus of attention. Correspondingly, a new generation of business operation collaboration platform will be reflected in the NGN architecture, providing a programmable platform for converged communication business support which shields details of various underlying networks. A new generation of business operation collaboration platform mainly includes business execution subsystem, system management subsystem and load balancing subsystems.Business operation collaboration platform which has been developed by research group currently not only has good scalability, robustness and open interfaces, but also can be a good support for BPEL business and achieves high concurrency for SIP requests. There are many advantages in business operation collaboration platform, but there are also disadvantages in it such as unable to support open source BPEL engine and unable to respond to HTTP requests. Against existing problems that business operation collaboration platform lacks support for open source BPEL engine and HTTP requests, this paper not only added functional support for BPEL engine and HTTP requests, but also implemented functional support for BPEL engine such as node management, business deployment and business management. Firstly, this paper introduced BPEL engine and other related technologies, and for disadvantages of current system, the paper proposed the overall requirements of business operation collaboration platform which supports BPEL engine, including function expansion requirements of BPEL engine, load balancing requirements of users’requests and functional requirements of system management. Then, according to the requirements, the paper designed the overall system architecture, and divided the system into three parts, namely BPEL engine node subsystem, load balancing subsystem and system management subsystem, and then conducted a detailed introduction for the design and implementation of load balancing subsystem and system management subsystem respectively. Finally, against the implemented business operation collaboration platform which supported BPEL engine, functional test cases of was introduce.
