With the rapid development of network technology, so as the wireless networks technology, and the MOBILE NETWORKS OPERATOR has just operated4G tenology in China, network traffic flow is increasing so rapidly, in a complex network environment. The strained bandwidth resources cause a lot of network congestion problem. Traditional congestion control method is not so effective, but since the congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms such as ECN mechanisms was invented, there shows a way. In this thesis, a congestion exposure and feedback mechanism for practical application scenarios is studied.First, this thesis introduces the research status of IETF standardization introduced congestion control aspects of the organization. End-to-end congestion control can hardly improve network performance any more. It requires a combination with congestion exposure and feedback mechanism. Then introduce the ECN mechanism and other congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms.Then this thesis applied the congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms commonly to several different wireless scenarios, which is based on the congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms thought.One is using the GRE protocol extensions for congestion exposure and feedback mechanism solutions in the tunnel scene. Analyze tunnel congestion problems. Then design the models and detailed implementation steps for the feedback;One is using IPFIX protocol for congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms solutions, according to the tunnel scene basic model, designing IPFIX protocol message formats and operating procedures to achieve congestion exposure and feedback programs; The third one is implementing congestion exposure and feedback mechanisms solution in CoAP scenarios. Analyze the problems in lightweight IP congestion control, then design and implement the congestion control and exposure scheme based on CoAP;This thesis also designs a simulation scenario of wireless congestion control, contrast two simulation scenario, scenario with and without congestion exposed mechanisms, reaching the performance comparison for functional verification.Finally, the thesis summarizes the deficiencies and the need for further improvement of the design of the three solutions.
