Research On Simulation Scenario Generation Technology

In military domain, scenario is designed according to the military aim by military personel, which contains imagination and presupposition of combat area, both sides troops and mission programming. Simulation scenario is simulation data about scenario which can be loaded to simulation units, while making a military system simulation with computer technology. Different description used by each simulation group leads to different simulation data format. While alternation happened between systems or person and system, Simulation scenario data maybe incorrect. With studying at the content of simulation scenario, put forward a new description frame, give a standard process of simulation scenario development, and design a tool used to develop simulation scenario.Firstly, with summarizing the anterior production, give the correlative concept about scenario and the definition of simulation scenario. Distill nine elements which can descript simulation scenario: environment, entity, action, mission, event, alternation, simulation configuration and simulation rule. And study at their relationship.Secondly, summarize the description methods of simulation scenario. Introduce text language description method, structure template description method, formalization description method and graphics description method. Give a description frame of simulation scenario, and put forward a description method based on XML.Thirdly, according to the composing and description methods, give the guidance of simulation scenario development, put forward five steps of simulation scenario development, and explain the iterative process of simulation scenario.Lastly, design a tool used to develop simulation scenario, develop the input function module using c# language, Visual studio2003 and MapX control. The function of the tool contains building, saving, opening, modifying and managing simulation scenario.
