With the mature of TD-SCDMA telecommunication system, combined with multi-core and multi-mode technology trend of the phone, it has market value to research TD-SCDMA system realization based on multi-core phone chip. Downlink synchronization is the first step after the terminal is booted, and it is also very important to access the network. At the same time, the realization of downlink synchronization performance directly affect the bit error rate of the receiver, better downlink synchronization can achieve better system performance. TD-SCDMA physical control design is based on the combination of the software feature of physical layer and the hardware characteristics of multi-core chips, the better scheme of the physical control design, the better physical layer time delay we get, and the better system throughput we achieve.This paper introduces the process of TD-SCDMA downlink synchronization in detail, and the theoretical derivation of the key algorithms of downlink synchronization, and designs a complete scheme of downlink synchronization based on the MATLAB simulation analysis. After being realized and optimized on multi-core phone chip, the scheme achieves very good synchronization performance and meets the requirement of system design indexes. On the other hand, based on the research of TD-SCDMA physical layer protocol and related algorithms, combined with the characteristics of Tensilica multi-core chips, and also matched the algorithm and DSP hardware characteristics, finally get the physical layer baseband design scheme. After all of that, the optimization technology of different kinds of Tensilica DSP core is used in the development. Finally, we get performance analysis of the physical layer control design scheme from different aspects, such as the time delay of signal processing and the usage of multi-core chip memory, which shows a good memory usage and small processing time delay.This paper is based on deep study of TD-SCDMA physical layer and downlink synchronization, with the perspective of theory services practice, use the strong processing ability of multi-core chip, get a physical layer design scheme combined software and hardware characteristics, finally realized a phone by c programming which can realize12.2kbps/144kbps/384kbps TD-SCDMA services. This scheme finally achieved a stable synchronization performance, and fast signal processing, which shows the advantage of multi-core terminal chip and a strong practical value. |
