| As early as the beginning of the Web2.0era, Internet transformed its role from information checking only to the platform that users can produce some contents, in recent years, the rise of HTML5brought qualitative leap for the development of Internet, users could use the Web applications with rich functions through browsers directly, this not only makes the user experience more optimized, but also reduces the developing cost. On the other hand, in the background of the rapid development of computer network, the real-time communications based on Internet has-been the most popular mode that people use to communicate.with each other. With the advent of4G and other communication techniques, the ways for improving the experience of users by using Internet to communicate are changing from increasing the transmission speed to providing new type of applications with rich functions. So based on making research on the new techniques about HTML5, this paper designs and realizes a typical application, verifies the feasibilities of these techniques.First, on the base of analyzing the disadvantages of traditional applications, this paper proposes the advantages that Web applications own, introduces the developing status of both HTML5and real-time communications. Investigates the key techniques of HTML5and the positive effects it brings for the development of Web applications, makes research on its advantages compared to traditional techniques, explains the scenarios that suitable for real-time communications, introduces the supportive level of every large browser company puts on it.Secondly, this paper designs a typical real-time communicating application system based on HTML5,"Family Care", which has two main function module, home monitoring and family interaction, makes research on the functional requirements, gives out the design program for each function modules, designs both the whole system frame and every part of it.Finally, this paper implements the "Family Care" application by using the newly developed techniques of HTML5and WebRTC, also this paper shows the final application effects in the end. For the part of home monitoring, this application is afford for video surveillance and video recording; for the part of family interaction, it can do video call, text chat, video capture, graffiti preserve, location share and other functions. Besides, this paper introduces the way to detect whether the browser supports HTML5during of developing process, analyzes the development potential of HTML5applications for the future. |
