Research On Family Records Management Model

Family records which are the original records produced in the family production and life have important practical and cultural values for the family's production and life.Family records reflect the changes of the social life,at the same time,they have vital social values and are an important part of social archives resources.With the development of economy,family archives have received more attention.However,at present,the ordinary households' awareness of family files is weak,and there is a lack of necessary understanding of the characteristics,management,and use of family archives.What's more,the social consciousness of family files is not enough.Many families do not establish their own family archives.And in the Archives,family archives are not sufficiently rich and comprehensive.So there are many problems in the development of family archives.This paper started from the research status of family archives management and discussed the basic theoretical knowledge of family archives such as characteristics,values,and preservation principles.In practice,this research proposed that the govemment,the family,and the commercialized organization should cooperate with each other to implement the family archives management model,and elaborated on the specific implementation methods of this model.
