Design And Implementation Of A Heterogeneous PDM Integration System For Aviation Manufacturing Industry

It is highly complicated to develop aviation products, the aviation manufacturing enterprises use PDM system to improve the efficiency of product data management, and they use more than one PDM system at the same time because the different PDM has own advantages and characteristics in the fields of aviation product design and manufacturing. These unintegrated PDM systems cause the problems of redundant management business and the Information Island in the aviation manufacturing enterprise. This thesis researched the key techniques and integration requirements and so on which are required for integrating heterogeneous PDM systems, and developed the first version of heterogeneous PDM integration system. The accomplishment is as follow:(1) The PDM data management standards in aviation products and the methods of data integration were analyzed. A message management mechanism which is based Web Services and which is used to track the functionality process in each heterogeneous PDM system was designed.(2) On the basis of analyzing the requirements and use scene of heterogeneous PDM integration system, the software architecture and the main functionality modules of heterogeneous PDM integration system were designed.(3) The detailed design and accomplishment of three main modules are described, including service-oriented message queue management module, business process management module, data transmission and reception module.(4) The running and system deployment environment were proposed. The core functionality of data transmission and reception was verified, and its execution process was tracked and analyzed.The heterogeneous PDM integration system has achieved a good operating performance. The process-tracking functionality makes the data transferring work to be more efficient and reliable and accelerates the data transporting between the designing and the manufacturing, in order to make product design or manufacturing problems can be found and solved as early as possible.
