| Since the beginning of21st century, with the development of mobile communicationtechnology, the number of switching network equipment increased rapidly. In the case of limitedmaintenance personnel, how to do the maintenance of various manufacturers of equipment,various types of equipment, and the multiple devices of same type at the same time and toensure the communication network operation orderly and stably is of particular importance.However, maintenance personnel cannot fully master the alarm analysis method of multipledevices in alarm processing. And this will cause the delayed report and incorrect processing ofthe instrument or system failure.Currently, the network operators generally are provided with Operation and MaintenanceSystems such as Integrated Alarm Platform. However, these systems mainly service for variousprofessional equipment in whole network. The main function is restricted to the alarm searchingand statistic analysis, which are not helpful for analysis and troubleshooting of a specific alarm.Each manufacturer provides a network management system for their equipment can exportalarms in real time, however almost alarms are present in code and the formats are differentfrom each other. The export alarm from these network management systems are difficult tounderstand and analyses for the maintenance personnel.In this paper, Analysis Platform software about soft switch alarm was designed for thecurrent alarm analysis status. This software can help maintenance personnel to analyses alarmsmore effectively, liberate manual labor and energy about analysis, and improve the efficiency oftroubleshooting.The software is based on the popular JSP+Spring+Hibernate and other relatedtechnologies for system development. And it will mainly accomplish the following functions：One key import of alarm and rapid analysis: this software can import multiple alarm files ata time and present results of the analysis directly. The text code format alarms are split up intofields and giving intuitive presentation. It can display the alarm unit and its position informationin the rack that help maintenance personnel to handle the fault quickly. Moreover, it can give theend equipment for a large number of transmission alarms directly to ensure the fault equipmentor the equipment affected by the alarm.Convenient searching for historical alarms: All the previous import results are present inthe platform database. In addition to presenting results of the analysis directly after import a log,historical import alarm analytical results can be queried in accordance with the import time,alarm time, alarm number or other multiple filtering criteria. One key export results for doing statistics easily: For the convenience of statistical analysis,one key export function was designed. The query results can be exported as EXCEL format. Itcould be an alarm log that intuitive, classification clear and can do data filtering. Platformimproves the efficiency of comprehensive analysis of alarm.Provide alarm maintenance advices: Double-click the selected alarm in the derived resultsthen show the page of alarm interpretation and processing suggestions immediately. Thefunction accelerates the searching for the manufacturer’s technical documentations and shortensthe fault processing time.As the alarm analysis software, platform running stability, footprint small, response fast.And its modular development is helpful for maintenance and expansion. Platform formulates theimport rules and template of query results for soft switch alarm. It utilizes these rules todecompose alarm information. In the use of this platform to analysis non-core network alarmtext, the user only need to set appropriate analysis rules according to their own alarminformation format, determine display field of alarm query, and maintenance the correspondingresource information.
