Rapidly development on communication, digital signal processing and large scale integrated circuit technology makes people’s life more and more convenient, and health is paid much more attention by more and more people than before.The significance of human pulse and body temperature monitoring to health is outlined in this paper. Based on the analysis of the relationship of pulse, temperature and physical health, a pulse monitoring system based on low-power MSP430microcontroller is designed, and the methods, ideas and principles of this system is descried in detail. In order to improve system reliability, based on the simulation on Proteus and performance analysis of the system, the hardware and software solution is improved.The system programming and hardware choosing are taken mainly by me. An easy-to-carry microcontroller with low power consumption is used in this system. The experimental results done confirm that the system is reliable, stable and can effectively monitor heart rate and body temperature.
