Study On Performance Of Oracle Goldengate And Application In Sercurities

The problem of Information isolated islands is the most important problem forenterprise informationization. To solve the problem, there are two kinds of ways. Oneis program interface, the other is database synchronization. Their applicable scene andcost are different. Database synchronization is better for huge data and simplebussiness. This paper is mainly study the performance of Oracle databasesynchronization middleware GoldenGate and its applications in securitie business.This paper firstly discusses the concept and category of the data synchronization.Then analyzes the structure and design principle of two utilities oracle CDC andGoldenGate, and then designed a multi thread performance experiment test of thesynchronous data inserting. For measureing performance of these two synchronizationtechnology, we use diffrent threads inserted data to an oracle database, with differentenvirement. One there is no synchronized, one is synchronized by CDC technology,and the other is synchronized by GoldenGate. We’ll record CPU usage, memory usage,read IO and write IO.Based on the survey data collected, we can make someperformance chart and draw corresponding conclusion. From these graphs, we candraw the conclusion that the synchronization technology of GoldenGate is better thanthe synchronization technology of oracle CDC technoloby.At the same time, we discuss some applications of GoldenGate in the securitiesbusiness, including one to one synchronization, many to one synchronization, many tomany synchronization, as well as homogeneous and heterogeneous data in severalpractical cases, we can see that the GoldenGate is flexible and powerful.These features make the GoldenGate become a powerful weapon for the currentOracle database data synchronization, not only in securities but also otherindustries.The maket foreground is very wide.
