With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, wirelessnavigation and positioning technology to obtain the original more attention. Theglobal positioning system GPS (Global Position System) is a satellite navigation andpositioning system developed by American twentieth Century70’s. For signals toreach more easily open outdoor environment, GPS can provide high precisionpositioning information. As for the indoor environment, because of the shielding ofthe building itself, so that the received GPS signal in the indoor environment isextremely weak, unable to obtain the effective information required for positioningfrom. In a fire occurs, indoor the visibility is low, but also increased the difficulty ofindoor positioning. How in the fire fighting and rescue process, security fire safety ofpersonnel, to determine the accurate position of firefighters, rescue workers in theview command adverse circumstances of action, has become the research focus of thepresent stage of fire alarm system.In order to solve this problem, this paper designs a kind of fire rescue indoorpositioning system based on Android. The system is mainly used in fire rescue, rescueteam safety guarantee. The greatest characteristic of the system is to use Androidindoor positioning system is widely used on the market. The algorithm of the systemintegrates the RSSI algorithm and step-orientation algorithm. The system is dividedinto two parts:1, positioning the customer terminal;2, positioning server. Positioningof customer terminal is a mobile terminal of a Android system, the client and server inthe end after the connection, RSSI, data and step and direction through the networkinterface to send to the server; the server receives the client for processing the datasent over and, using the RSSI location improved-ranging compensation algorithmand step to the positioning algorithm, the position of the client display on the hostcomputer.
