At present, digital and intelligent has become the development of the new type ofmetal wire mesh weaving machine, in order to improve the weaving speed and quality ofwire mesh, this paper mainly studies the following three aspects:The total control system research on the smart wire mesh weaving machine. Let-offand take-up motion is the key link of the warp tension control, by understanding of thedevelopment of the let-off and take-up system at home and abroad, and analyzing theworking principle and the function characteristics of electronic let-off and electronictake-up motion, the article proposes the control scheme of electronic let-off and electronictake-up control system which bases on PLC and ac servo technology. According to theweaving machine spindle rotation angle, the control system choose appropriate samplingperiod, collect the warp tension signals effectively, then use the PLC internal PID controland local instructions, combine with ac servo drive system, control the speed and directionof servo motor rotation precisely and quickly with high resolution, ensure that can improvethe speed of weaving and the quality of the fabric during the process of weaving under thepremise of the constant warp tension. Using electronic take-up system can arbitrarily adjustthe weft density value, and change weaving product varieties quickly.The research on the starting mark. By researching the starting mark, put forward thereason and solution of the starting mark. By researching, find that the loom using electroniclet-off and electronic take-up system can not only improve the speed of weaving and thequality of the fabric, also can solve some problem caused by starting mark defects.The research on the warp tension control strategies of metal wire mesh weavingmachine. By researching and understanding of advanced weaving machine tension controlsystem at home and abroad, find that the warp tension control system which use thetraditional PID control algorithm has the defects, that it dependences on mathematicalmodel highly and it is difficult to achieve good control effect. This article systematicanalyze the kinematics of each link of the metal wire mesh weaving machine and thefactors that affect the warp tension, it provides the theoretical basis for achieving theconstant tension control of the warp. On the basis, this article advances the Fuzzy-PIDcontrol system which is composed of incremental PID control algorithm and Fuzzy control,fast response, good robustness, and the high precision are all the advantages of the controlalgorithm. Then, the control algorithm has been verified, simulated and analyzed, and the simulation result shows that the control system can guarantee the stability of the warptension effectively. The system has rapid system response and high control accuracy.The research results of this paper can improve the automation level of metal wire meshweaving machine, and it has important practical significance to the development ofweaving industry in China.
